Bali in Indonesia is one of the most enchanting places on Earth and a top tourist destination in Southeast Asia. The island's beautiful beaches and resorts combined with exotic local culture and hospitality provides visitors a very unique and welcoming experience. Temples, rituals and a tranquil environment also give the place a semblance of a sanctuary.
The enviable Balinese lifestyle characterized by beauty and peace will be ready to soothe the frenetic lives of working urbanites and give start-up Filipino families their own private paradise in Pasig city when East Raya Gardens of DMCI Homes is finally completed.
DMCI Homes has broken ground for the only Balinese-inspired mid-rise residential community in Pasig City with a modern Balinese-themed architecture and resort amenities. The gate of the 2.9-hectare residential village, with its distinct Balinese roof, was blessed by a priest during the ceremony. Key construction documents were placed inside a time capsule with Project Director Alma A. Florendo sliding the building perspectives; Director for Design and Construction Elmer G. Civil, the site development plan; Project Manager Joel San Jose, the building and clubhouse plans; and Senior Architect Nonong Hipe, the day's newspapers. The four officials buried the time capsule before proceeding to the ribbon cutting and lead the blessing of the East Raya Gardens sales office along Mercedes Avenue.
Upon construction completion, East Raya Gardens will have seven five-storey condominiums offering two-bedroom (56.5 and 64 sqm) and three-bedroom (88 sqm) unit options. All units come with a balcony and a service area located at the roof deck. Each building will feature modern elevator, resort-themed receiving area and landscaped atrium for natural light and ventilation at the upper ground floor.
The construction of the clubhouse has already begun along with three buildings namely, Amanusa, Senja and Rama. Florendo confides that Amanusa will be completed and ready for occupancy by February 2010, followed by Senja building to be finished by March 2010 and another front building, Rama, which will be completed two months later.
With the unprecedented success of DMCI Homes' Raya Gardens Condominiums in the heart of Parañaque City, it was only a matter of time before the company followed up with another version of this refreshing new concept of Balinese living. East Raya Gardens will retain and improve on the Balinese-themed architecture and resort amenities that Raya Garden offered. True to its Balinese name "raya" (meaning "great"), the development will feature breathtaking architectural details such as the pavilion-like clubhouse, Balinese gardens and water elements that stand to offer a relaxing haven. It will also feature Bali-style swimming pools for adults and children, a playground, a basketball court, fitness gym, recreation and entertainment halls, and lounge area.
Other prominent highlights of the development are the 24-hour roving security service, electrified perimeter fence, Wi-Fi accessibility at the clubhouse, water and laundry station services.
"It's quite peaceful here. When you enter the place, there is a feeling of serenity," says Florendo.
East Raya Gardens lies in the quiet side of Pasig where traffic congestions is lesser. It is also strategically located being close to major thoroughfares -- C5 road and Ortigas Avenue; the business districts of Ortigas Center and Eastwood City; malls such as SM Megamall, SM Pasig Supercenter, Tiendesitas; schools like University of Asia and the Pacific and La Consolacion College Pasig ; and modern hospital like The Medical City are just nearby.
At prices ranging from P2.25 million to P4.12 million, modest income earning families will get value for their money for an East Raya Gardens unit. Coming from the country's first triple A builder/developer, each unit possesses exceptional features and amenities and world-standard level of craftsmanship borne out of its more than 50 years of experience in the construction and development industry.
